A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our end. Messages sent through a contact route may be retained to respond and are not shared outside our organization unless law requires it.
Like most websites, pages may collect technical data: IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, pages viewed and time spent, referring site, and timestamps. Cookies help measure use; a browser can block them, although some features may then work differently.
How Information Is Used
Technical and contact information may be used to operate and secure the service, route a search to the relevant partner, understand helpful pages, correct technical problems, and support interest-based advertising. We do not sell personal data.
Information may be processed by search partners, analytics providers, advertising networks, and a government body or law-enforcement agency responding to a valid legal order. Partner systems apply their own terms and privacy notices.
Outside Links and Security
Links to the Iron County Sheriff, county FOIA, jail, court, MDOC, city offices, and third-party tools lead to independent services. Their policies govern after a visitor leaves this site. Advertising partners may track activity across sites on their own systems.
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us to request deletion if a minor has submitted personal information.
Your Choices and Updates
A person may ask for a copy of data held about them, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where appropriate, or an opt-out of certain processing by using Get in Touch. This notice may change; an updated version takes effect when posted here.
