The jail is the first official call for a current county-custody question. County FOIA is the route for an existing booking record or a request for any releasable booking photograph. The Trial Court lists weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Time; confirm hours before visiting.

Choose the Right Office
Records are held by the agency that created or maintains them. The following routes keep a request focused.
- For a city police report, use the arresting agency or its municipal FOIA process.
- For a county booking record, use the Iron County FOIA page.
- For a court disposition, contact 95B District Court at (906) 875-0659 or its clerk at (906) 875-0619, then check MiCOURT.
- For MDOC supervision or an available state offender photo, use OTIS.
- For custody notifications, use VineLink; it is not a photo service.
- For a federal or immigration detainee, use the official BOP or ICE locator.
For an emergency involving police, fire, or EMS, call 911. Do not use a records contact as an emergency reporting route.
